In its commitment to help "Save Our World" from the devastating impact of air pollution on our lungs and planet, Oxygen Plus (O+) financially backed the planting of 1,000 new trees throughout various United States National Forests (USNS). The funds donated were a direct result of O+ oxygen canisters sold to wellness-minded consumers via e-commerce and retail.
This tree planting project marks Oxygen Plus’s first partnership with One Tree Planted, a well-known and respected organization that supports local efforts of tree planting all over the world.
USFS tree planting projects have an incredible and diverse impact on the environment. Planting trees in California will restore the Tahoe National Forest after wildfires. In Colorado, tree planting will help the Gunnison National Forest recover from a beetle infestation. Reforestation in the Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee will help repair critical watersheds and bring back lost biodiversity habitat.
“As the pioneer of recreational oxygen in the U.S., we delight in doing the work of the Lorax, the tree-protecting character from Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, stated Christine Warren, Founder and President of Oxygen Plus. “Our dream is that collaborative efforts, like the one we've formed with One Tree Planted, will help plant enough oxygen-producing trees so people won’t only turn to Oxygen Plus to help mitigate the effects of breathing polluted air, but also will breathe O+ to boost oxygen levels for sport, party, travel and other healthful outdoor activities.”
Oxygen Plus is grateful to its customers - who make this - and all contributions toward its Save Your World campaign a reality through their purchases. Help Oxygen Plus go further by sharing this article, posting about it, and by purchasing Oxygen Plus. One cent of every can sold goes toward organizations and causes that are helping solve our clean air crisis.
